sounds good
I like the fact that major media subltly slanders the blogs. People dont know what they are but its cheap to make some bad ones and point to them. 120,000 people sure is a lot, but its not clear how much we should pay for it to be fixed up. Maybe 500 people died in Florida. But they had houses and malls so it was more expensive to put back together. I mean no disrespect to the victims of any national disaster, but I would like to know the official policy of the US with regard to these sort of snafus. In other news its not evident if Yushenko has really won. Is dioxin mustard gas? Christine Gregoire is governor of Washington, the state where sales tax constitutes 62% of state revenue (highest). National news doesnt like reminding us that a vote was decided by 129 votes out of 2.9 million. Dino Rossi wins by 261, then recount, then Rossi by 42, then he loses. Could you do this with paperless voting machine. Forget about it. What to watch for in 2005? I learned about mutual funds the other day and saw that the only ones who did 20% or better in 2004 were in emerging markets, small cap, or real estate. Im not ready for funds so Im scoping two dollar biotechs on biospace stocksort that have weathered the last three years. Companies that really wont go out of business until some people get to cash in. Make sure of course that they have scientific advisory boards with real people though. I think stocks will go up because they will have that 30 million dollar inauguration party and realize "Lets Go."
