Consequences
So finally with a comment from someone unknown, I think, I have to reiterate my intention for this collection. With the hope of capping each months activities in the context of the dirty world, so that it might be looked at and considered in slow steps. Unfortunately for whatever reason some months are light in my eyes, like this one. Cardinal Ratzinger is now Pope Benedict XVI. A hardliner, this will surely put things in order if someone pushes the button. Good old childbirth and lots of it, that's how you keep civilization coming in and the basket getting past along, heavier and heavier up to the Vatican. I am sure he is a temp, double or nothing on Brazil. What's going on in Italy? Pope, cabinet restructuring, von Kloberg jumps to his death. I smell something, and I hope its related to the shooting of Nicola Calipari. There is released a censored document, not really censored though. Apparently the car cannot be produced for inspection, no news cares about the whole reason they were driving in that car in the first place, Giuliana Sgrena was likely ransomed out of captivity. We dont pay for hostages though, so its quiet. What she will soon say I look forward to hearing.
Did I say this before? THE INTERNET IS GOING TO BE TAKEN AWAY. From people in the US at least. Too much news is slanted towards the evil that is being dumped out of these new fangled boxes. People who dont know are slammed by viruses, insulting software and email packed solid with lies. While its only a microcosm for the world in which we live, most people in this country are likely already just leaving the box off. Asking themselves as the evening news goes, why cant they just go get those guys. Why not? Anonymous hosting. I understand that many smart people demand anonymity on the internet, but my feeling is that if you cant nail people down for their actions, they will break the rules. More to the point, they will rob you, and Arizona will get the bonus for hiding their name. So enjoy it while it lasts. Download music and warez and documents on sci3ntology. Bung. Lost my identity on the internet, my daughter got seduced by some transvestitute from the internet, keep the laws lax so things get really ugly, then close the gates. Yes, Bush and Putin seem to pursue questionable practices, but we need a strong leader in these times so let them do what they need to. Everything they can. I eat North Korean Brinksmanship for brunch. Isreal India and Pakistan will not sign the Nuke production treaty, US opposed verification, meanwhile these rogues must submit, or have their testing translated to Nucular Offense on my evening news. Everything was going fine last week until they told me I was going to be nuked. And I thought I had a bit of the depression in March.

1 Comments:
We're not going to ge nuked.
The internet will not go away.
Bu they don't mind letting you go on thinking that either of those two might occur, or, for that matter, that you could be gunned down by some religious right (yeah, that means christian) whacko or blown up/poison gassed/driven into a building by an islamist fundamentalist jihadist.
These things produce a great deal of anxiety, whther we realize it or not -- the zeitgeist is a real factor in our individual lives, especially for those of us who choose to remain in cities (that might be the craziest choice of all in these times). But the point is that they WANT us to feel scared, to be anxious alla da time -- it keeps us down. It keeps us from doing something that might attract too much attention, and most of all it keeps us from really catching on to what's happening. And I am sure there is much, much more going on than we could ever see. If Condi runs it's gonna be hard not to vote for her. She won't though -- she has no chance.
